All wines are made on site in our small hands on facility. We are very passionate about our wine
and enjoy the closeness to our produce that being
a small winery gives us.
From bud burst in the spring to bottling the wine,
sometimes years later, we see each vintage evolve.
BANKS ROAD RANGE
From our 14 acre vineyard here at Banks Road we grow Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz. All the wines are made here on site in the winery, where we also have a full production bottling line. So from grape to bottle to tasting counter, our estate
wine travels approximately 800 metres.
The Soho Road Vineyard range are single vineyard wines made from the oldest vines on the Bellarine Peninsula, planted in 1978. This vineyard is low yielding, exceptionally high quality wine with great complexity and flavour.
This vineyard is just five acres, producing only Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes.
At harvest time, the grapes are handpicked and transported the 5 kilometres to us here
at Banks Road. The wines produced from soho road are a Vintage Sparkling Blanc de Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Barrel select Chardonnay and Barrel select Pinot Noir.
Our Cabernet Sauvignon is fruit sourced from the pyrenees and has become part of our growers range. The growers range will celebrate the contribution from our growers
from different regions.
This range will include Geelong Riesling, Grampians Shiraz and Heathcote Sangiovese.
All wines are made here on site, in the winery.
YARRAM CREEK RANGE
Named after the creek that crosses Banks Road and heads down to Swan Bay,
this wine is made here at Banks Road from locally sourced fruit.
These wines offer excellent value and true varietal characteristics that you will
only see on many local wine lists. Again, all these wines are made here at
Banks Road Vineyard.
